The Sickle Cell Disease Association of Northwest Indiana Foundation was established to:

• heighten awareness about symptoms and treatment of sickle cell anemia
• provide testing, and informational resources about diagnosis and treatment to individuals affected by sickle cell anemia
• educate and unite the friends and families of those affected by sickle cell anemia
• establish community outreach programs and events to help support the advancement of this mission
